    DO IT YOURSELF FUNERAL REVIEW

The CBS story about homemade funerals: I suppose it is what they said it was going to be - sort of. There is a cemetery which a doctor has purchased and made available for biodegradable funerals. A box and you - no chemicals, and I'm not sure you need a box. maybe a shroud will do. Oh, and no tombstones, just pices of rounded rocked peeking out of the ground as if they had been then for years: a name, a couple of dates. The cost: about $3,000 for the plot.

So far this is the only cemetery where this is offereed according to CBS, although California is following suit and so is upstate New York.

As for next week's story, I remember high schoolers and biodiesel, soduku, and Olympic bowling. None really stirs my interest and I am going to check back at CBS.com to refresh my memory and, as my mother said, see if it is worth voting.
