MY SCREAMS ARE MUFFLED
Yesterday a clip gave way on my little green car and my new muffler started dragging at the tailpipe. Firmly of the belief that baling wire and duct tape are the major items needed to fix just about anything, I went out and lay on the driveway behind the car to assess the situation. Okay, baling wire might work as a temporary fix, but alas, I had none. So I found some old picture hanging wire and tried that but I didn't prop the muffler up and it was hard to work with the wire that had been coiled and wanted to remain coiled. Still, I got the pipe up off the ground. When I called Mike's Muffler Shop I found out they had a backlog of things to do - so I figured I needed a more dependable fix until my appointment time rolled around. At hardware stores you can buy metal strapping in a circle with a screw to tighten it. I don't know what it is called techically, but I got a couple of these thingies and hooked them over the brackets on the muffler. So far, knock on wood, it looks stable.
I came inside feeling happy with myself and then looked on the Internet and came across this bit of information about Bill Gates. Aaaaaaaaaaaaa!
Oh, Bill, 47 billion . . . gee
