MITCH'S DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME
I have made my opinion of DST in Indiana - and its inclusion in the Eastern time zone - abundantly clear. So I am irked by the fact that this weekend we will be doing "the clock thing" again. Great. Kids again going to school in the dark, more fog delays. Of course, my mother simply does not go on GDT - Governor Daniels' Time or God Damn Time - and that is fine. Sticking to your principles - okay, idiosyncracies - is not so hard when you are living alone. She calls Governor Daniels "that boy" . . . well, I'd like to take "that boy" out to the woodshed.
