A SAD PASSING - KIM HARTMAN
Kim Hartman was Summer's first grade teacher at North Side, along with Mrs. Wallace. She passed away Saturday, March 17, 2007, just short of her fortieth birthday. She fought cancer for two years, and judging from what I have heard, it didn't win easily. We grieve for the years that were stolen from her - for the times she will no longer share with her family, espeially her children. And we grieve for them, to lose a mother so young . . . I think, however, she will always be with them - in every ray of sun, drop of rain, in every breeze and in the sky that watches over them.
