Spikey arrived
Three hours late, somewhat frazzled, definitely tired, but still happy to be in San Diego, Spikey arrived last night at 2130. Having braved all the delays Delta could generate on a bad weather day and escaping being diverted to Salt Lake City, Spikey remained cheerful but inclined to rest her weary head. Today, however, is another day. She arose at 0420 saying she had articles to write and is now contemplating heading to the beach. Too bad for Spikey that the recent warm spell is over and temperatures are to be in the 60's all week.
