SUN SUN SUN
This morning when I drove Alison to work, the sky seemed extremely black and I was thinking about the old saying that it is always darkest before the dawn. It was so black because the sky above was so clear. Yes, the sun is out. We have had an incredible number of grey skies this winter and it is so nice to see some blue and have light reflect off windows and cars. And, yes, I can see shadows of things. Hmmm, maybe it's time to get those Christmas lights off the bushes.Sounds awful, doesn't it? . . . having lights up so long. Well, we put them on this big bushes by pulling down branches, wrapping a couple of loops of lights around them and they letting them fly into the sky to form lovely random patterns. But it is a trial to get them off, and we have started to use scissors in order to spare the branches being scraped by the wires. Guess, we'll finally get out there and take care of that.
But right now, I'm just happy to see sunlight.
